      This…. On the 2009 10CR the Vitesse used 6 litres of oil in 3,200 miles.    On the 2011 10CR, with no mechanical work done we managed 2200 miles on 2 litres. The difference was a can of Wynns Supercharge or maybe the STP equivalent - both work. It also managed the 2013 run…. Used zero oil on the 2015 run with the new engine….,

      Passed a tidy green C-plate TR4 yesterday near the border…. Vitesse has the day off today as our hosts didn’t fancy the back “seat”! Picnic Swiss-style Scenery and weather pretty hard to beat…..

      Hello All             I wear toe tector boots and a hard hat with visor and ear things plus gloves and overalls! Just look at workmen doing this job they are not in shorts wearing flip flops etc! I know we all moan about Elf and Safety but its there for a reason? Just look at all the industrial injuries and deaths back in the 30's 40's 50's and even later! Roger

      Looks like a good drive so far brother lives in Wil outskirts of Zurich and he and mates used to do motorcycle tours - France Italy Corsica etc. my first task was to get to Wil for the “start” of the tour. Best part of 900miles. Did it on one sitting couple times (or coming home)just stopping for fuel and drink. Difficult to eat and drink in the move on a motorcycle with full face helmet.  but wonderful touring areas  enjoy   ps there are some TR’s in swissy  https://www.tr-register.co.uk/event/2024/09/3422/European-TR-Meeting-Switzerland-2024

      Hmm…. I’m only taking pictures if I’m not driving…. An SM mostly drives on the less challenging roads (less challenging in the mostly straight sense, she thinks the steering is heavy, and it is), which makes it hard to get pics of the more impressive roads….. From the Top of the Ballon D’Alsace memorial to the fallen mine clearance volunteers of France  it’s a very popular spot with cyclists… some big event on this weekend…. Big hill chaps! Our road into Switzerland had a lot of tunnels..,
