JohnD Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Craig, please tell how your district is doing, fire wise? You must be worried. John
GT6MK3 Posted December 30, 2019 Author Posted December 30, 2019 All safe thanks John. I'm a city dweller these days, so a fair way from the danger normally. I'm away at the moment though, and in a fire danger zone, there's nothing too close at the moment though. We're keeping an eye on them, and we have a fir plan that invoilves running away at high speed I went through the Ash Wednesday bushfires back at home, never seen someting so terrifying or powerfull. I've stayed well away since. This years are freaking huge fires. To give some perspective, the Amazon rainforest fires this year hvave burned a reported 2.24 million acres. California had their worst year ever last year, with 1.9 million acres burning. To date, this season in Australia has lost just over 12 Million acres. Aus is a big place, but it's going to be a bad year for fires...
mpbarrett Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 really going to miss your pictures.... Mike

Nick Jones Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Levitation practice over a yielding surface........ Hot weather and cool water....... I distantly remember such things
Hamish Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Ah the pool back to where we started. well done Craig. I have to say my favourites were the skydiving. so far removed from anything I’ve done. Very impressed. Not something I could do I don’t think.

Phil I’m flattered, and I could easily go again, but seriously, half the time it’s just me bored and stuck at work. Oh, we can do polls too, you just start a new topic, and choose poll at the top of the page in stead of post.

We used to play one in Africa which involved bombing. Marking was on highest splash or most water out of the pool...... .......usually won by the “widest load” and I don’t think you qualify there, even right after Christmas!

Hello Craig Now if it was from the top of a 50ft tower !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was our son in 2018 in Portugal (he made a fair old splash as well)
Nick Jones Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Seems strange to not know what Craig is up to......... or even if he’s alive......? Hope all is good?
JohnD Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Perhaps not the daily grind, Craig, but in your professional and scooter activities, we lost sight of your sky diving. As one who considers that stepping out of an aircraft that is not on the ground is crazy beyond brave, I'd love to see/know more! John
GT6MK3 Posted January 30, 2020 Author Posted January 30, 2020 Not dead. Just working. Every bloody day. If I posted photos here, they'd just have been of my office in the burb's or of my new office at my other job in the city. Or of me asleep at my desks... I'm hoping to slow down at the end of the week. And I really really need a skydive. Will try to post a few interesting photo's here if I do something fun. C. P.S. John, the fires came our way, and we ran away as promised!
Nick Jones Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Glad you’re not dead..... even if you are locked in your office.....
