      Nail on the head there Clive! If I was a cynical man, I would wonder just how badly Trump has destroyed (or forsees impending destruction of) the US economy that he needed to appropriate Venezuela's oil resources............ I don't hold out much hope for him actually handing power back either, despite his claims to the contrary.

      Whoevr posted that video purposely left no information!   But a little Googling find that this was at the May SCCA meeting at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS).    The antagonists were: 44 Anthony Parker  EP (B)    1970 Triumph GT6+  New Ipswich, NH    Errant Racing with a picture: and  76    Alex Hollenbeck  EP (B)    1976 Datsun 280Z  Ashby, MA    Hollenbeck Tax, Felon, Thompson Machine, Townsend Collision Center, Miner Metal Fab, VacHume So, still no details of the cars, "GT6+" being the later model name in the US.    But that car has enormous rear tyres, but bigger wheel arch extensions than they would require for their width alone, so I suspect not a Triumph rear axle.  If so, then another more powerful engine might be suspected.  But I find on Facebook:  Anthony Parker: My 2.5 with triple Webers and headwork and cam and 6 branch was dyno'd at 201 bhp back in the 70s. Clearly, Anthony is on Facebook, but I'm not, and I'm not going back.    Anyone able to go there, find him and ask about the car? John

      While I in no wy support Maduro or his regime, just removing him will no doubt create evn more instability. Maybe that is "the plan" so Trump can move to take over the country an install "democracy". After all, it has all worked out so well when they have tried it before. Well, it has for many corporations based in the USA, for the actual country and its citizens, less so.

      He ran his campaign on a promise not to engage in regime change. But here we go. He was opposed to crypto currency. Then he and his sons started their own version of Bitcoin. He promised to drain the swamp of political cronies only to fill his administration with the most slimy of slime.  This lunatic is all about making himself more wealthy. NOTHING MORE  This is about getting Venezuelan oil. Not drugs, Not human rights Maybe he will Pardon Maduro like he did the Honduran president/drug kingpin Our only hope is if the Democrats grow a pair and win the house and senate in November. Only then will they be able to stop this madness.

      Very different! That must have been bloody terrifying to watch and have to run away from. Land shouldn't do that! Good video though, a lot of detail too. Not sure a modern production would assume so much of its audience. Norway though obviously has previous. Look up Storegga slide, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storegga_Slide. An underwater slide off the coast of Norway about 6000 BC. Resulting tsunami hit eastern Scotland and deposited beach sand up to 18 miles inland and 4m above current sea levels. I heard about it when I was working at BP as the company was involved with Statoil on the Ormen Lange gas field which wanted to lay a pipeline in the area and there were obvious concerns about causing a repeat. Which would be a 'bad thing'.
