Tex Wiper arms

Hi Folks

back in July I discovered why the TEX wedge lok arms can fall off TR wheelbox spindles.

In discussion with TEX (and they were very helpful) they stated that their arms were disgned for Wheelbox spindles that are 14.3mm diameter.

The TR spindles are 13.4  (take note of the numbers used here)

I can make the wheelbox and arm fit by fitting a spacer behind the wedge. This works very well.

 

My question to one and all does anybody know which model/make/year of car has a spindle that is 14.3mm (bigger than the TR)

Or what vehicle does the arm with a 14.3mm  attachment fit on to.

The wedge needs to be slightly longer in order to reduce the diameter it is working against
