    • You should have forwarded Milo's PM to Skye. It's the proof that there IS a conspiracy going on.  More later. Gotta get my son to the dentist by 8AM. And it -24C outside right now.
    • The bypass between the water pump cover and manifold blocked off... its a pain anyway so blocking that off is win. I have the thermostat installed with no holes installed. I have also tried without and with holes.  All result in over cooling.  The DC controller is installed. I have been in contact with Davies Craig and to be fair they are quick on responding within 24hours so cant fault that.  There advice is this;   Firstly, you must have holes in the thermostat otherwise you can damage you pump.   Given you have a thermostat (without holes) and it is still overcooling this tells me that you must have a lot of Flow bypassing the thermostat going through the radiator.   Unless the EWP is plumbed wrong, i.e. with the inlet (centre) going to the engine not the radiator I think the flow is coming from the header tank.   I believe the simplest solution to this would be to re-route the return from the header tank to the Inlet of the EWP with the heater return.   I would also recommend you check all the secondary loops in the system to make sure the flow direction is the same As factory, basically if a hose connected to the factory water pump or its hosing then flow will have been reversed.       The return is the one the larger one that goes to the top of the radiator. This needs to go the EWP inlet. But I think you will also need to figure out a way to connect the factory Return on the top of the radiator to the top of the header tank to let air out of the radiator.   I don’t think so, as this would cause the EWP to wat to try suck water from the top of the radiator.   The best option would be too get a hose reducer and connect the top of the radiator into the small diameter Hose connecting to the hop of the header tank.
    • I keep coming back to the truth that literally everything is political. You cannot cut politics out of your life, because choosing to cut politics out of your life is a political choice that hands space/discussion/power over to people who have not made that choice. Perhaps politics can be avoided if you just find an island in the middle of the ocean to live on...but then someone might decide it's a good place for a military base and you're back to being shafted by avoiding politics again.
    • Wholly agree. I only participate in LinkedIn because my particular field regards an active profile as some sort of qualification for membership of the industry 'club'. It is indeed geared towards the recruitment industry and the crappy 'influencer' market, populated by people who are masters of using AI to produce articles about the bleedin' obvious, but somehow garner attention and the much-valued thumbs ups. I occasionally publish articles that, foolishly, I've written myself and which sometimes generate engagement from a handful of friends. If I'm lucky. It's also about meaningless corporate back-slapping and self-congratulation. Promotions. New jobs. Oh, and the bottom-feeder mentality of consultants obsequiously lauding clients. The world of Uriah Heep. From time to time, I'm offered a month of 'Premium' membership, but have discovered that all it offers is enhanced stalker tools. Oh, and a natty little badge on your profile to announce that you're a premium stalker. All in all, just more American Tech Bro shite.
    • That’s just brilliant.     So pleased it’s nearly finished as the tr is in the queue for the same treatment - remember with have the rendering ready. 😉
    • Looks amazing! How you made, then fitted all the component parts together to achieve that fit and finish is mind boggling! What an achievement!
    • The finish on the inner wheel arches is better than my exterior paintwork!  👌
    • An apology for my rambling Well, the truth comes out. Yesterday I placed a post on the Triumph Experience site explaining how some members are taking totally non-political issues and forcing them into the political arena. This is being done to hide the truth.  In this post I mentioned a post that was originated by a user, Doughboy8. He invited people to come here and see how a more free community handles world views. He specifically linked this group. Doughboy8 specifically asked that no one respond to his post, and that it was an educational resource and nothing more. Several "Trumpites" tried to force it to be political. Doughboy8 reiterated that his post was for educational purposes only and that we all should listen to different media and learn.  His final plea to stop trying to upset the apple cart was met by a Trumpite who then posted something clearly political and gave Skye reason to shut down the page. Yesterday, I took up the mantel and posted a complete conversation between myself and the culprit who destroyed  the thread.  Let it be known that Skye then contacted me and shut down the post. This a a complete copy of the thread Skye objected to: A user on this site, Doughboy8 had posted an blurb directing members who wanted to take part in World Views of what is occurring in America and around the world. He specifically asked us all to refrain from responding at all. He pleaded and begged on multiple occasions for us to post nothing and use his post as only a possible road map to gain insight and views how the WORLD is looking at us. Multiple members here tried time and time again to force it into a political may-lay so that they could ask Skye to delete the thread. Warren constantly turned the vision back to the intent of only offering another site which permits geopolitical information. What he did was to tell you where you could get real ice-cream instead of a container of chemicals, now called frozen desert. BTW: If you would like a link to find the aforementioned site, just PM me. In a final attempt to destroy the thread, a user who uses the screen name Gofaster , who also uses the mask Milo Fast then made a deliberate post MAKING the tread political. He was acting as a "spy" from the know nothing group and his post was the dagger that sabotaged FREE SPEECH. How do I know this for fact? Not knowing that his post was a deliberate move to take down the post, I wrote to him and explained that it could and would destroy the tread. I explained this to him in a PM and asked him to remove his post. Here is a complete word for word copy of what transpired, my PM to him, and his response. From this day forward, "Milo" is Persona Non Grata to me. It is clear in my mind that the Triumph Experience is biased and implements what I see as censorship. The Trojan Horse post was placed by someone on the site calling themself Milo Fast / GoFaster To: Gofaster Milo Fast Sent: 2026-01-24 09:54 AM Milo .....  PLEASE take that down ..... it make this a POLITICAL thread and gives Skye reason to shut it down.   This is why Warren asked NO ONE TO RESPOND.    You can remove it by clicking edit and the just remove the photo and for text type in 123 and then update ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To: Gofaster Milo Fast Sent: 2026-01-24 10:20 PM Milo, Now you know why Warren asked for NO ONE to respond to his post. I know your intentions were well founded BUT ..... You're response gave the nay sayer " TRUMPITES " cause to contact Skye and kill the thread. You've shot yourself in the foot. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From: Gofaster Milo Fast Sent: 2026-01-29 08:30 AM That worked perfectly as intended. I got rid of all those posts Milo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And this evening I received this from Skye From: Skye Skye Nott Sent: 2026-01-29 07:20 PM Triumph Experience is a car forum for discussion of cars, not politics. Please stop posting political. Nobody has to tell me to take down political posts, it's literally been against the forum rules for many years. It's not a conspiracy. https://www.triumphexp.com/policy/forum-rules Skye Nott Webmaster ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Response to Skye: To: Skye Skye Nott Sent: 2026-01-29 09:43 PM Skye, I realize you created and "own" this site, but I never said anything in my post politically motivated. If you have a problem with reality, that's your problem and not the problem of the rest of the world. Yes, I will stand up for Freedom of Speech, as a Canadian, you should recognize this and be proud of it. Freedom of speech in Canada is a fundamental right protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (Section 2(b)), guaranteeing expression, thought, and press, but it's not absolute; it allows for "reasonable limits" justified in a free society, meaning hate speech, defamation, obscenity, and other harmful content can be legally restricted. I will NEVER disrespect your Canadian Charter of Rights and don't believe any one should. In truth, I think as a Proud Canadian, you would salute me for standing up for YOUR RIGHTS. I in regard to your note, will never make political statements on the Triumph Experience family of sites. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FREEDOM IS NOT FREE
    • Just to be clear, have you removed the thermostat? the bypass between the water pump cover and the inlet manifold is blocked off? Have you a Davies Craig controller fitted? thanks, Ian
