This is my fibreglass one. 8kg including the back window. The carbon one should save a couple more kilos. -
I'd like to, egret! I'd need your metal roof to make a mould. John

There's a slight lump at the rear on the base of the passenger side of the windscreen, but I've not fitted the locating cones yet. If I can tease the upper rear sections of the bonnet slightly further apart, then it'll get better than the steel one does. Then I plan to cut some lemans inspired holes in it, and make some stiffening ribs so it's not wobbly. Oh, and @JohnD I'll happily take a silverback inspired hardtop if you've completed all of your other projects!

Don't want to boast, but I will! I built a GRP roof on Silverback. Using paper honeycomb, it weighed 9kgs, when the original metal one was 40kgs. That's a weight saving of 78%! I still have the mould, and some honeycomb! John

And the scrutineer passed this camera mount. Bless him do I try and do a side by side over under view with the usual camera position or have this a a separate run in a normal video ? any ideas ?

Those pics remind me I need to do something about the DRLs on my car. Both have had the same 2 chips go down. I really should replace them.....

Yep… Vitesse much the same. Oil pressure a little bit better though. -
Looks like a good fit for a GRP bonnet, worthwhile weight saving!

Quite. Exactly where the bits are going to go when they come off is the really worrying bit. Into your face is always a possibility!
