Nice garage! We have a very similar van, stupid price but they do hold there value. Took ours to Spain last year and off to Scotland and Cornwall this year. mike

The braking can feel a bit strange on hybrids, not as sharp as a normal Golf, the pedal feels slightly soft and the feel changes as you brake, I guess its due to it doing as much energy harvesting as it can. but if you need to stop suddenly its just the same as a normal car. Havent noticed the pressurised tank, only had to put fuel into it once. What range do you get out of the BMW, we seem to be getting about 55~60 miles (VW quote ~90 miles) but it still adapting to our driving style. The first time I drove it to my daughters (14 miles) it had more range when I got there than when I started! Would really like a proper gauge for the battery and fuel to show how much is in the tanks... Mike

That’s a nice clear military style watch well done. there are some clever watch repairers on youtube. Which are worth a look.

We did this a few years ago. Tried the vw but I couldn’t cope with the space 2 adults and 2 dogs etc so went for a big van. At about the same cost. it’s great fun did France with the dogs last year and a few race weekends. you just need to book your weeks/weekend away so you get out and about. enjoy. You won’t loose money on a good vw

This^^ And by avoiding the tank 'breathing' will also stop moisture accumulating in the ethanol component -

I’m guessing that pressurising the tank will probably help keep the more volatile fuel compounds in solution, so the fuel will stay fresh longer.
