JohnD
The Friends of Triumph, the race-associated US messages include this request: folks, looking for suggestions as to where in USA or UK i can buy quality piston rings. i'm rebuilding a couple of pre-war triumph engines, so its not something your average parts shop can help with. ive tried race piston people like Weisco, but its too unusual for them. I really need someone used to older engines, as the rings are very wide for the bore diameter. MG XPAG overbored engines are close, but narrower in the rings FYI, it 65.5mm bore with rings being 1/8, 1/8 and 3/16 wide any leads appreciated, thanks Terry Terry gives his email as enquiries@roadandtrack.net.au Can anyone here help our Oz cousin and fellow Triumphero? Nick Jones
Possibly. I think my usual engine machining guy makes rings or knows someone who does......
