Nick Jones
Light, soft, breathable. Like old bed-sheets......... 26 minutes ago, triumphlux said: Its important that the space where the car is stored is dry and ventilated! .......but this is most important. mattius
Yeah the problems on the paintwork on my car are caused by it being under an outdoors cover for years. Garage is very dry and very well ventilated (frost is about as bad as it gets) I've gone for one of these, not only cause its cheap, but because its basically a lay over sheet, im basically just wanting to protect from dust and the bumps and scratches, not after any real protection from the elements http://www.cardustcovers.co.uk/car_covers/
PaulAA
I bought an indoor dust cover from a certain owners' club. It is a two-layer breathable construction and is usually only pulled on during the winter lay-up (which doesn't happen very often these days). However, it sat on the car for three months a couple of years ago and, when I took it off, found that a considerable amount of very fine dust had filtered through the fabric and collected in all the places where the cover didn't touch around the bonnet, boot, rear deck, etc.
Martin
Bought them in Stoneleigh for GT6 and Mini. From Quality Car Covers. Happy with them. Can easily be washed. They are on eBay as well. Did a nice bespoke one for my Herald / Vitesse Estate for 60 GBP plus p&p
mattius
Arrived today, I like it, a bit big, but it's what I wanted, more a loose sheet than a fitted cover. Fitted covers cause too many problems
