Today's rant from me: Today, January 21, 2026 - the American Moron, Donald Trump stood in front of the World’s Economic Leaders in Davos Switzerland and told one lie after another.   Don't believe a thing he says.... Yesterday on his continued threat to take over Greenland, the US stock market crashed with one of the greatest loses ever. US citizens are having buyer's remorse.   This wanna be Hitler is having his forces shoot Americans in the street for doing nothing more than exercising their Constitutional first right to free speech.  He has unleashed well armed thugs on citizens. He is no better than the Ayatollah in Iran.   While the rest of the world is building more and more alternate energy sources, Trump has commanded that there be no direction toward windmills, solar or other renewable sources. Why, because he is stealing oil from Venezuela and he is getting money from the fissile fuel industry.   He claims a land slide election, but in truth he only won by 1.5% ... That is far from a Mandate   This MONSTER could be the death knell of a free Europe as he looks to create chaos within NATO and have NATO fall apart. Two days ago he demanded that European countries pay HIM 1 Billion dollars each to be part of his defense group.   I recognize that European countries have long held disagreements but now they must decide, join and fight the menace together of fall apart. Donald Trump can not be appeased. He's like a small child, the more he get the more he demands. In my mind, the free world needs to stand tall together and with one voice say NO.    What Say YOU ?

Good suggestion. Latest update is I have pointed my mate to the guys who refurbed the alloy wheels for the Scimitar as they do welding. or at least get it done.

Another idea - most radiators today are in aluminium, and of welded construction.  Find a radiator repair shop? I had one made to my design for the Other Project, by a firm in Preston.    Excellent work, IMHO. John

Interesting!     This video may be also of interest.   Kurtis, of CEE Australia, posts weekly videos of what he's doing in his commercial workshop.   Recently he made a MOAC, a 'Mother of All Cutters', a disc abut two feet wide with button cutting inserts on the rim.  He ran it on a vertical mill. but it had significant run-out, which he traced to the Morse taper on the arbour that held the cutter.   So he recut the taper!   His was new, but do morse tapers get worn, so that they fit and grip less well?

You need good flux tho i used to have some that was like a tin of shoe polish that was my dad’s.    now it’s a modern plastic bottle with a clear liquid flux. Works well but I Couldn’t tell you what it actually is ??!!

Got my last twin 4' in the garage still to do. Was low priority on account of working ok and being awkward to reach. That has now changed as one of the tubes just went on the blink - literally.
