A lot to be said for that approach. Plus feeling somewhat virtuous on account of your self sacrifice in helping rather than driving (no one need know otherwise) and we won't tell -

From memory, the grease nipple doesn't fit, but you can remove it and fit a plug which does. Then when you wish to grease them you simply stick the grease nipple back in. Though given I'm riding on about 5 hours sleep in the last three days my memory may be suspect, and I didn't do the RBRR! -
#GT6MK3 Craig what a nightmare and after all your good work helping others too best of luck if only you knew of someone with a nice little fold up plane that you could take as back up ……

Hello Nick I have found 2 U/J's on the shelf and I think they are the type in Spitty? GKN TV 10000 GKN -OEM Made in EU 124770 On front of the box and U2/808029 on a label on the side The ones in Spitty have done 37,000 and 36,250 I have had a couple move in the yoke but managed to fit a thicker circlip and one has not move since! The other still appears to move but has done 5,500 miles this year and no clicking etc so not to worried! These do not have grease nipples(not sure if you could even fit one for greasing on a Spitfire??) GKN Driveline Service Roger
