Me too. Makes a surprisingly scary noise! This. It’s usually the screws that hold the little tunnel extension plate behind the tunnel cover itself. You should be able to get at those without a total strip down. -

Ah the 'tropical' east coast! Enjoy tomorrow John. -

That'll do it. I have suffered the same. Taking the tunnel off is a bit of a ballache job for sure. When you do that you should be able to get enough of a view of the propshaft to see any rub marks on it if something has been touching. -
Get your fireproof romper suit on. That’ll keep you warm. and enjoy tomorrow🤞 👍

You know how the UK has enjoyed an extraordinary dry, sunny and HOT Spring? I've just towed SofS from tropical Morecambe Bay to Cadwell Park in Lincs, for tomorrow's race. And it's cold and the sun has gone away. Bollocks! Especially as I'm in shorts. John

Arrived Cadwell, but someone's done the weather in. It's cold, windy and the sun's disappeared. Anyone coming, bring yer winter wollies! John

Ah that's alright then. I must have gotten all those air leaks and done somthing right if its idling nicely. I had a route around underneath briefly the other night but nothing obvious. I can't see up towards the box enough and I really do not have the will power to take the tunnell out. My main suspect in my head is a screw, as I re did all the trim on the tunnell, the mk2 has lots so I'm wondering if one is sticking through and scraping. I want to get both the rear wheels off the ground and get it running up, that should rule out clutch, box and diff surely
