I think that's been happening for years.   First time, I saw someone in the supermarket talking to themselves, and it wasn't Walmart.  In fact they were taking orders from 'er indoors.

The new hearing aids are crazy, my dad's were Bluetooth, weirdest thing ever seeing him talking away on the phone with nothing visible.

I was sorting out the back barn today to make some more room in the front one for the on going projects. Forgot moving chassis’s your own to shoulder height isn’t fun!    However when sorting through the spare triumph rims I have I came across a few pairs of these.  Some of them in ok condition given their age!

Tubes not welded together yet as Harry is waiting for spacers to turn up first . I have asked him to order a full second set of Rose joints as I would not want to take a Euro trip without spares that could be sent out in an emergency .

This isn't my audiogram but it looks like this: As shown, catastrophic loss above 1000 Hz.    Which loses all those speech sounds f, s and th. Anyone over 18 can ask for a free NHS hearing test, any of the usual suspecsavers will do one for you. John
