    • Yep. But because you can doesn't mean you should....
    • Looks like it’s from a 360 view camera
    • That weird camera effect is not an enhancement
    • In truth, the world  has to stand up to this 5 year old's mentality. I am an American and would highly respect any country that would place sanctions on the USA. This administration has gone off the rails. Trump has hired criminals who were released from prison under his pardon policy ... then hired them to work for the Department of Homeland Security.  They are shooting unarmed protesters. People who do nothing more than blow a whistle from 100 ft away are being tackled to the ground and beaten.  I'm ashamed to be an AMERICAN Trump is supporting Putin by trying to force his way into Greenland and destroying NATO This is not America ....
    • GT6 at Scenley Park, Pittsburg. Beating a Porsche 911, and several others.   But that was then (9 years ago), this is now, or last yearish: Weird, wide focus lens, self-levelling camera - don't watch if prone to motion sickness! John
    • It is a fine looking vehicle Hamish. Post blasting normally put on a coat of primer to stop the steel gingering. But what primer depends on the final coating. And if they are going for refurbishment, even if the primer doesn't get damaged by tools, then presumably there will be oil involved, which would be an issue with primer which is slightly porous. WD40 is a bit light. I would suggest a light oil instead. I am assuming that whoever does the overhaul will do the painting so will need to do a full degrease anyway before the final painting. Love those safety three button T shirts and flared jeans on the marshals. And your dad's sports jacket and tie. Those were the days
    • Just before xmas I visited my mate that looks after my trailer at his business address and took the shocks with me for advice.  ended up leaving them For his lads to shot blast them - well not shot but a softer media that he has to use for military aluminium parts  I’m not expecting them to be painted as part of the favour.    and I expect to send them off to a specialist to refurbish them. Hopefully I’ll sell the ones I don’t use.    my questing is am I best wiping them with an oily cloth, liberal spray with WD40? or a light coat of aerosol paint ? To prevent rusting.  In the mean time       oh had some VSCC feedback on eligibility. defo need to change the electronic ignition the radial tyres need to be crossply no telescopic shocks ( no decision on the Armstrong shocks on the front. ) ( but if I can get this set working i will arrange the fitting so it’s all inter changeable with current set up. Ie keep all the current mounting points and add some ( use the same) for the permitted items) not eligibility but VSCC club suggest I can keep the roll bar for sprints and hill climbs ( one at a time events) but not for circuits. ( I don’t have a circuit licence anyway)They suggest the inherent vulnerability  of car and drivers without ROPS means that drivers take more care  and everyone is in the same “risk boat” (my words and interpretations) I do confess I prefer the car’s looks without the roll bar so may be a moot point anyway
    • Since the infantile brat insits on having his way, the FREE WORLD should cut off America completly. An economic hardship but it beats WWlll where trump would have us with the death of NATO.
    • Ford went main stream with heated windscreens. They then bought Jaguar and landrover.  when they sold them both to create JLR - JLR kept the ability to use the heated windscreens.  so a fiesta and top range Range Rover share the heated windscreens tech bloody good it is too
