    • Forgot to mention..  They let an empty plastic bottle container fall.. Lucky it was empty !
    • Well.. today wasnt a good day.. This afternoon my co-worker left for home, suddenly came back to me to say my antenna on Fox seemed bend..   So went to look. A delivery truck was next to Fox and had just delivered drinks etc. Indeed antenna bend.. Then spotted paint missing on the bootlid. The guys where already in there truck. So shouted (i was a bit pissed off ofcourse..). Called there boss this evening about it, talked to the accountant (and TR6 owner), he has now send an email to the insurance of work.   I also called up a bodyshop that I know well, but a bit to far (does classis Porsche's and 90% insurance stuff). He explained me everything, as I never had to deal with insurance stuff. Accountant gave me the contact details of a bodyshop close to both our homes too, also does classic Porsche's and had Triumphs in the past.   Now.. the annoying wait 😞 I really hate all this stuff...   But lucky no damage to trim or dents.
    • Thanks John and well found. Excellent video. Was aware of quick clay (earth science/geology education) but that film is simply superb in its detail and clarity.  I particularly liked the salt demo. I’ve read that brine injection is sometimes used for stabilisation and now appreciate how it might work.
    • Progress has been bloody slow. Main issue being getting the part of the garage I'm working in remotely warm enough. Eventually managed to get the mods finished and rubbed down. And I have taken a mould off that which is noew curing. We'll see how good it is both finish and fit wise shortly. Meanwhile I have cut out the old mis-sized panel from the bonnet which gave me space to get the hinge tube fitted up. Slightly more complicated without the panel to work against but I think that's it. Needs tack welding and then I can do a trial fit on the car...
    • My fully analogue Mitutoyo. Never needed the battery changing in 42 years and counting.
    • I have a volvo one (probably the same?) on the way.  I am thinking the not shutting fully is OK with a plenum whith a single throttle body, as it seems to shut nice and tight. Guess I will find out!
    • Hello           It is just one of the same valves but just the body(I broke one when playing with it so gutted it and tapped for 4 feeds) I have found this one I had fitted at first it is a Bosch valve it does work but does not shut completely and did not seem to suit my set up? You can have it if you want it to play with? for free but perhaps a donation to a charity of your choice? Roger  ps pm me if interested
    • In light that the Trump administration has for all intensive purposes shut down Radio America / Radio Free Europe as it used to be known, much the way the Ayatollah of Iran has shut down the internet including Starlink in Iran ..... THE USA is rapidly becoming a FEDERAL ICE POLICE STATE For those of you seeking to know the truth about what is happening in the US, I suggest you try to link with www.MS.NOW. This USA based internet network, not under the purview of the Federal Communications Commission,   is attempting to share the truth of what is happening here. The Trump administration has challenged the governmental licenses of national air-wave broadcasters if they don't report the "news" exactly as he sees it. MS.NOW remains a free site. If you participate in any of the cable providers listed you may even be able to watch live video feeds by signing in.
