    • Hello Nick                   If you want to go down the full ford route if you want to send me the flywheel I will machine it down and mark  a PCD for the drilling if you tell me what it is it would just be postage and a donation again! Roger
    • Today's a day for whisky,  I never liked whisky when young, I didn't appreciate the taste. Slowly as I matured I started the appreciate the intricacies of whisky. I now have 100+ bottles of whisky, and I love finding new ones. There is a company that do a whisky glass in a YB piston, as soon as I saw it, it was me and I had to have it.
    • Cold pressure is 90 psi, ( at the smiths gauge ) Hot pressure at idle is around 15 psi. Pressure does reassuringly rise with the revs. Enough to raise alarm on the analogue guage, but not enough to illuminate the oil pressure light. It's not burning oil, it's not struggling for power, if anything it sounds better when hot.
    • How low is low. What’s hot idle pressure? If crank/bearing clearances are at the high end of tolerance then pressure drops slot when hot. Similar with oil pump tolerances, especially the gear end-float which is made worse by the alloy housing expanding more than the gears when hot.
    • To be fair I totally lost my mojo. I'm still not back in love with it,  Got a pesky oil pressure issue which baffles me and I suspect will need the engine out again. When cold it's fine, when it gets hot, looses it's oil pressure, engine runs and sounds perfect. Just the guage drops. I disconnected the oil cooler over winter, no difference.  Last chance is an external oil pressure gauge, which I have lieing around, if that also drops, it's an engine out job.
    • My free picture 😁   early start tomorrow for Shelsley Walsh
    • Did wonder this at the time. I think I may have mentioned getting a 1300 flywheel just open out the crank bolt holes a little and redrill for the Ford cover….. But it works fine, so don’t fret. You can always do it next time should you need to.
    • Up for sale is my megajolt setup. Looking for £250 + postage. Megajolt, EDIS 4, Ford Coil pack, USB cable, and loom.  Megajolt is setup for MAP, but will also run on TPS. What's missing - Trigger wheel, sensor, and sheilded cable. You'll probably want to tidy up the wiring loom - it's functional, but not great.  The system currently has a map which worked well on my car both in 1500 and the 1300 setups.  I can't remember the exact firmware revision, but it works with version 4.0.2 of the megajolt software.
