They're Dayton Audio full-range 6.5". They have a clear midrange and treble that the cabinets really bring out. Not much bass, but Dayton's 7" subwoofer will fill in the bottom end nicely. The amplifier was basically a follow-up to the valve amplifier I built for the workshop. It's a bit addictive though - I enjoyed both the electronics and woodwork parts of this build so much that I'm pondering a 300B amplifier and speakers for the living room. If/when I do, I'll post that in the 'other hobbies' section.

Group A will be something to watch. Several are full on race  cars small, chapman, flack and of course the Le Mans car of the v8’s 

When I look at your radiator setup I see the alloy plates beside the electric fan which certainly reduce airflow throught the radiator. And it seems that you don‘t have any guides (cardboardboard or alloy) in front of the radiator to guide the air trought the radiator. I‘m sure that decent airflow throught the raditor is as important as all the other aspects dicussed about cooling. Regards JC

I’ve been out with that lot. Lapped the lot of them….. in a 15 minute session…. in the Vitesse.  Not without its advantages though as once I’d driven away from the pack it was like having the track to myself….

Those speaker cabinets look superb! What drivers are those? Not Lowther I’m guessing!

No I don’t think so.  I’m in with some other 3’s  and 6’s which can have 150 bhp which is where I’m at.  I also told him I was still running in after my piston replacement rebuild. My gearing doesn’t suit Combe either it so open and fast. So I SHOULD be being a little more careful as I also have Shelsley on the Sunday. Where the gloves will be off !! but I think it’s open track in the afternoon.    But I do hope you make it Pete. Be good to catch up in the real world.

Don’t be hard on yourself. I think it’s safe to say we have all been there.    and looks like you have some good looking successes even if it’s not on the car !
