What a great day, thoroughly enjoyed myself and the weather was lovely! The driving was great, good track manners were very evident. Some of the cars were very nice, the Dolomite and Dolomite Sprints being my faves. Hamish's TR, what a beaut., good to meet you as well. See you all next year! -

What a wonderful day great weather great company great track and manners and gave some joy rides ( in true 1980’s street racing terms you smutty lot !) but I can’t believe I don’t have any photos !! Apart from Wednesday evening when the gods smiled on me and I found the gates open and a parking / pitch available in the paddock but it was a very chilly night !! great to catch up with so many of you 😁 👍 hopefully there may be some video ( when I remembered to press the button and the batteries worked !) a good and busy day but quick change of tyres and I load up again for Shelsley on Sunday. Nick thanks for the electrickery diagnosis and repair assistance I don’t do elecs so don’t really bother with spares

Well, this is rather strange. I replied to Pete on the Castle Combe thread on my phone earlier and I was presented with the Sideways emoji menu. However, just now on the PC I got the bog standard emojis. Which were also there on the same thread on my phone. BUT... checking back to the Castle Combre thread I'm still getting the Sideways options. Something rather odd going on with the web interface? Maybe a job for Craig. When he isn't trying to keep up with the dayjob, life, etc! -

Taking best advantage of the good weather. Out yesterday afternoon with some pals for a fairly brisk 45 miles with some pals. Then today I went en solo to Largs for a 99... with rainbow sprinkles Meanwhile chez moi, the roofers made a start stripping the old (160 years) slates off the roof. -

About 9-10 years. But not a huge mileage (came down from Shetland). -
I am hoping that if they have days when they are too busy to work on the car that their fiberglass man can work on the door/bonnet gaps and front spoiler just to keep progress going .

Egret , You are right , Harry has it on his list . Still loads for them to do and unfortunately Jammie’s dad , Neil , a retired engineer , who had stepped in to help out , has now returned to his narrow boat . They have a new guy starting in June but until then things will slow down somewhat . Hopefully the drive shaft has been sent off to be lengthened and clutch hydraulics are being ordered . Drive shafts can also be made up . The MGF rear hand brake lines are very straightforward so should not take long . Be good to have a full rolling machine !
