Well done Pete. That's petite but potent (they've come back!!). Have fun tomorrow everyone. Weather gods are smiling. -
The drivers A Piller bar looks tight on the standard throttle pedal position. Have you moved it or is it just the angle of the photo? It all looks really good. Are you mounting the dash support in the standard way? I'm currently considering putting rivnuts on the upper fixings so I don't have to fiddle with the nuts, but I'm not completely sold on the idea.

Thanks all, glad the exhaust saga is over! I'm not too fussed if it gets a litter rusty on the welds, main thing is there's no leaks. I can't tighten the system up yet as the clamps are still yet to arrive, then a few strategic bashes suggested by nice should keep it away from the chassis enough, tighten er up and pray the system doesn't get taken off by every speedbump I go over The new carb springs arrived yesterday, I opted for red over yellow as a few reported it's slightly better, but won't know for sure until its out for testing. As a comparason, you cansee the free length of the original springs differ slightly, no clue what they are. all the carbs need is new idle screws, hope and pray that BAE needles are close enough to give me semi good results until funds arive to take it to get tuned on a rolling road, some pipe for the overflows, and an air filter. I'm just going to slap a pipercross px600 filter on there, it should yield good results with the stub stacks and a 5.5cm one should leave plenty of clearance between its face and the wheel arch for airflow. Still waiting for my radiator to arrive, then it's just tracking and a few odds and ends.

As the actress said to the Bishop -
The link from YouTube showed it sold last Tuesday on eBay for £16200, 32 bids. Pleased it made good money, but probably nowhere near it would cost to have one a built.

Well I got the windscreen and gubbins back on but had to deploy this stuff after taking her out for a test drive. Radiator decided to spring a leak from the core for some reason. 100 miles later to Leigh Delamere services and she seems to be ok. Will check levels in the morning when it's cold. Best get some sleep now... hopefully see some of you on the morrow P.S. Hamish I hope they let you the site, or you found a nice quiet layby!
