    • Hello All               Am I being a bit thick but can you not make a wooden wedge? Something like a bit of old broom handle that maybe Ash (or cut a bit off your dinning room table as long as it is not Ikea!!) It's not exactly high tech!! Roger ps or one of the modern rubbers would probably be even better?
    • Payen were either taken over or shifted production a few years back. I have seen remarks about “problems” with some head gaskets, specifically the 6 cyl for recessed blocks and was even informed of this by Chris Witor at the time. I think it may have been resolved now. As regards the wooden wedges. I tend to just re-use the originals with a bit it silicone gasket after a good clean up. Seems to work.
    • Hello All               A few photos from today  We did not find this town as interesting as the others but it is the place for Tapas and Pinchos and Vino the little streets are filled with bars selling all sorts!
    • I've just read on The Triumph Experience in the US that over there, the Rimmers engine gasket sets from Payen no longer include a pair of wood wedges for the bridge piece.   They recommend using "The Right Stuff black" to fill the void.    TRSb is an American 'instant gasket maker'      See: Payen kit beware : TR5 & TR250 Forum : The Triumph Experience    I've heard that Payen were taken over, and that the quality of their gaskets has plummeted.  Has anyone found the same here in the UK?  John
    • Paint less is indeed bollox in this context - except all the paint has to be removed from the affected area to use it….
    • Does he play for them !!
    • I bet you wouldn’t say that to Jeff Herlings .
    • I ordered a load of (not sideways) stickers from stickersinternational.co.uk not too long ago - price of 100s on clear and cut-to-shape was pretty reasonable. IIRC White on clear was an option.  How big do you want them? 80x30mm 60 stickers, white on clear comes out at £20+nonsense  200x60mm 20 stickers, white on clear comes out at £20+nonsense  BUT at 150x75mm in the designer scaling the image from the website, the black anti-aliasing becomes a bit much on a transparent sticker and the text starts to look pixelated. I've asked an AI to identify the font used... so see what it thinks, but no definitive conclusion yet.
    • Picture 12, Spitty gets more interest than  the "supercar" Bagheera!
