JohnD
As it has been shown many times, any subject you can mention can be the subject of study by a member of Sideways University! And this time I hope that someone is an art historian, specialising in motorsport prints. At Stratford, I bought a couple of F1 prints, of the 1961 Ferrari 'Sharknose', and the 1960 Cooper-Climax. The vendor couldn't tell me anything about them, save that he had rescued them off the wall of a motor workshop that was closing down, many years ago. Both are in the same style and bear the same artist's initials. Those initials are in the form of a 'rebus', so that they could be PR, PK, BR, BK, etc. I've tried various online image recognition systems to no success. Does anyone recognise the initials, please? yorkshire_spam
What's the style of the pieces John? Could be Barry Rowe? Maybe Roy Putt (outside chance)
JohnD
Sorry! I should have posted a pic of the prints! And thanks for the suggestion but they don't resemble either of those two artists' styles Edited August 19, 2019 by JohnD
Janner
Absolutely no useful info John, just to say, I can see why you bought them, had I seen them, I would have been sorely tempted John
