    • The thing is, the ENTIRE WORLD WAS FOREWARNED about the coming of DOOM in america. Project 2025 actually put it all in print prior to the 2024 USA election ... the orange ape denied ever hearing of it and yet most of his cabinet had their fingerprints on it and ALL of his advisors teamed up to write it. Now he is implementing terror on Americans and even trying to remove citizenship from some born in AMERICA https://www.aclu.org/project-2025-explained This is paramount to making the British Magna Carter of 1215 nonexistent.
    • I'm not sure the engine is standard, as it has a big Alisport intercooler and it has an amazing amount of low-down torque. It doesn't sound a bit agricultural, which is a bit disappointing, but it's gaining my affection by being economical and starting brilliantly. Life is a series of compromises I suppose!
    • I won't kick you out.  There are nutters out there Who wrote what and where is up for grabs.   Roger
    • Hope I don't get kicked out for that!

    • I think Sinclair Lewis was previously mentioned.  "When Fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag, and carrying a cross". (Or Bible.) I don't think it can be confirmed as coming from Sinclair Lewis. Regardless, this is exactly what's happening. But that "cross" is not the Cross of the C of E, Anglican, Presbyterian or Methodist church.  It's the "Cross" of Evangelicals, and specifically those following a heretical theology called Dominionism. It's rampant in America, all too common in Canada. And may be spreading to the UK with your "Reform Party".  It started in the 1960's and has been gaining traction since. It's based on a twisted interpretation of Genesis 1:28.  "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." They believe it's about THEM. Their version of "Christians". (Even though Jews were not even mentioned at this point or Christians thousands of years later.  They totally disregard the clear teachings of Jesus, and essentially twist Old Testament verses out of context to justify doing so. THEY ARE NOT ACTUALLY "CHRISTIANS". And  they want to forcibly turn America into their version of a "Christian Nation". A Theocracy.  That is the "Cross" or "Bible" they carry. It's a complete perversion and total violation of their own Constitution. Sorry if anyone is offended, and I don't mean to preach. I want to 'educate'. I was IN that movement back in the 70's and taken in by it.  I just offer the information as a warning to others. I got out of it. And far-right conservative politics. All I can do now, is warn others.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominion_theology
    • Quite often people have no clue what/where others are in the world, in relation to their own location. I have a business buddy outside of St. Fillans, Scotland. It was a real eye opener when he pointed out to me that his latitude is 56.39 which puts him roughly in the middle of Hudson's Bay, due north of me. Roughly 1,400 KM due north of me! No comparison when it comes to weather. Only Inuit live up there. I've been to Moosonee, on the southern tip of James Bay. A mere 815 KM.  I wouldn't dream going even there in winter!
    • What’s done? Has it knocked him on the head and fed him to a polar bear? All the fish you can eat, for life, my feathered friend (lost or not)!
