    • Fine man Roger.  @JohnD not the first person I've heard express a similar opinion. There is a spectrum spectrums, and every human being is on them. My Mum once pointed out that my spectral locations probably helped me cope with my childhood rather than hinder.
    • As ever it's all the others you need to worry about .  Good luck with the hunt Nick. A distress purchase "opportunity' is rarely fun.
    • quite so      Roger
    • We just left Harry and many details have been agreed . Instead of running the exhaust under the chassis Harry is going to oval the 2 1/2” tube where it passes against the chassis and behind the tyre before returning to 2 1/2” . The rear section of roof will be held with butterfly nuts allowing quick fix/removal . The ECU will sit under the dash . The extinguisher system will not go FIA but just have one outlet in the engine bay and one in front of each occupant . some of the Racetech capillary dials will be swapped for Racetech electronic to ease congestion . The horns will be mounted to each rad supports . The door gaps with the glass fibre are not great but can be dealt with later . Dud to regs there will be two high level extra side lights and one central high intensity brake light . Handbrake lines now finished . still loads to do though . Nice Elan Sprint there .
    • Bugger indeed.    sad to say just px my A5 sportsback Quattro that you could have had at px price.  No seriously a car I would have kept but wouldn’t sell to a friend as I’m sure issues were on the cards. 144k one careful owner and me.
    • More admiration for those who have turned it down .
    • Nothing like a distraction !!
    • Apparently it’ll all be ok now they’ve knighted Beckham and Victoria spice girl is lady Victoria
    • Not referring to football sadly Hamish . Refering to the ever growing tension across the UK .
    • MT90 is what i use in the gearbox based on recommendations from here. I paid £40 for 2 quarts (1.9l) 2 years ago.  Though it pricey at the time, but cheaper than having to deal with the gearbox and was at a point where I was willing to throw money at the problem for some peace of mind .  The price you state isn't much more, but I agree that it stings and will be watching for cheaper alternatives!
