And who knows I may have to dispense with the VSCC and just join the likes of Midland Automobile Club (MAC) who own Shelsley and run in a classics class for over 3litres or similar. let’s see what the VSCC want and how much it’ll cost. Getting a VSCC “buff form” the eligibility compliance proof wouldn’t do the car any harm reputationally wise even if slightly less road friendly.

This is why I race with CSCC. Their regs are all about the look (silhouette), original makers engine (no Cosworths) and original type of suspension, no slicks. So I can run a Vitesse with 2.6L and Lucas Pi, with transmission mods. But each to their own. John
