Nothing much changes. It hasn’t moved in a while (several months). Was going to take it to work one day last week but it refused. Crank, no start. No so much as a cough. Left the battery on charge and had another go today. After an initial single kick, same story. Flooded with stale fuel I think.  I took the plugs out and toasted them with a blowtorch. Then it started, ran very poorly and smokily for 5 mins, then settled down. Took it for a bit of a run and it seems happy enough again. Quite rinse off to wash away garage dust and spider poo…..

No worries. Strap drive too - which are the devils work…..😛

A quick catch up . Fully stripped out , Engine/gearbox mounts now welded up , seems welded , boot , cabin and engine bay repainted . Four ears added to spring plate and a visit on Monday to finalise  decisions on upper arm arrangement  .

Meanwhile in ‘democratic’ Britain, Starmer has demanded a de facto end of end to end encryption in the UK, something that would be deemed unconstitutional in the US. J D Vance was right.    

Only because of an attempt to limit the definition od 'democracy' by James Madison, subsequently contradicted by Alexis de Tocqueville. Thanks. I didn't know. Democracy is not defined by whether the supreme leader is elected directly or indirectly. The US is a representative democracy, but it still falls within the definition of universal sufferage 'of the people, by the people, for the people' Just my opinion, of course, and happy to be corrected.

Having recently fitted a new clip very carefully during the OD conversion I’m certainly hoping it will last. Seemed ok to be fair - retaining its spring after fitting, which is more than could be said for the ones used on my PI box years ago. @GT6Steve saved me on that one by sourcing some Spiralocs in the US.
