oldtuckunder Posted December 24, 2017 Share Posted December 24, 2017 Always meant to add a note to this thread, after my 3 year travails solving my #5 BE failure. Anyway at some point I added a 30psi pressure switch into #2 plug in the gallery, apart from hot tickover I have never seen the big warning light attached come on, even at approaching 7k rpm, which leads me to think that low oil pressure in the front gallery isn't common. However as belt and braces and as I had the home made Acusump feeding into the port just below the main gallery, I did take a feed from #6 gallery plug to #1 gallery plug, does it do anything?
