itiejim Posted May 11, 2018 Share Posted May 11, 2018 I'm busy spaceframing my car at the moment and am looking at making a fibreglass single piece rear clip with slightly wider rear arches. It'll be made to take the standard bootlid. I'll post some pics up as I make progress with the plug, but would anyone else be interested in one off the mould? I now have the moulds to make a complete one piece rear end - or alternatively separate wide arch rear wings. I've posted an ad in the fir sale section. JohnD Posted December 20, 2018 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Itiejim, Your moulds have multiple curvature, but still, I would have put more reinforcement on them, especially if you might want tontake more than one copy. Folded cardboard or even newspaper just for volume and then ribs of GRP over. Looks as if you have taken them off the original, but you could put them back, bolted on at the flanges and add them now if you wished.
