may look to most of you as quite banal.

That is the intention.

 

This rather nice inlet barrel looks bog standard, it's even marked "Triumph" like the original one.

This is where size DOES matter.

 

This one cures all the problems of the original ones, and if you REALLY REALLY have to use it for EFI, you can put a whopping butterfly in it.

Nobody will ever know or suspect it's been messed with, unless of course they happen to put the original one just next to it.

 

No more worries for higher power, over-richness or uneven metering.

How much?

Is this a 'one off' or are they being reproduced? Although It looks like a VERY tight fit.

Being reproduced.

They fit and don't foul anything, hence "looks banal" even "original".

 

It's been a long time wanting to make such a thing.

Nice item, looks like being 25mm wider.

Several times I had the "Flex" in hand to do that and

to cut it underneath and insert a 7cm wide strip of metal.

 

But it's a lot of work to make it round again and weld all nicely together!

Sorry, in "inlet barrel" are we referring to the throttle bodies or the air box?

 

If the latter, trumped you!

PS the straight rubber connectors are a dead give-away!
