iani
Can anyone confirm if the plug lead configuration on the set of blue leads below is correct? This is a Racestorations car, I have just received a set of plug leads (red ones) from them and they simply won't fit if I follow their wire numbers, I have managed to fit them based on size but I want to confirm that I have connected them properly given the numbers are all wrong. Nick Jones
Coil pack connection order can vary dependent on how the primaries have been wired...... however, looks like you've successfully matched what was there before. BTW, as this is a wasted spark system, the relative position of each plug in a pair (ie 1 & 6) is not critical and can be switched to give the best wire run. iani
Thanks Nick, that makes sense, I should have pointed out that the red leads are on my car, the blue leads are the Racestorations car, hopefully all will be work, still some way off being ready to fire it up. Nick Jones
Ah, ok..... well, you have the pairs right. Whether the coils are wired in the same order as the Racetorations car is a different matter........ Be prepared for some popping and banging! If you get it right first time you'll be doing better than I ever have!

spitfire6
Hi, The pairs should be 1&6, 2&5, 3&4. no idea which pair is first or last. Emerald ECU? Any maps to share? Cheers, Iain.
JR2
They sold you leads that are mislabeled. These leads are probably for another engine and they forgot to remove the manufactures labels.

spitfire6
Hi, if you keep the pair matching & wire the coil incorrectly, only two wires from opposite corners will be required to correct the wiring. You can swap wires of individual pairs with no problem if this helps wire runs.
