  1. Nice thread, but I keep seeing a glaring hole in the debate. Understandably, the government etc are supposed to be there to devise a framework for society, but the responsibilty ultimately lies with the parents. A neighbour's son has been excluded from school for waving a knife on the school bus. Now, he's not some street-inclined lad and he's only 12, but his folks wave it off as just one of those things. To be fair, the lad is slight and a spark plug short of a straight four, but WTF?? I've never had to do it to my boy, nor would I want to, but if he did that, I'd tanned his hide. And if I didn't, I deserve to be whipped. It's alright saying the kids have no dads, but what about the uncles, grandparents, etc. That's my biggest grief. Bring back the cane, it didn't hurt me (well, only until it healed).
  2. Here's another, they just like to stop folks having fun. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/1990336/Facebook-custard-pie-fight-cancelled.html They seem to manage it alright on the continent with their tomato fights..
  3. Trying to visualise how you'd do that sorbs. Not scrabbling around in the middle of the night on all fours are you, dragging earth out with your bare paws, I mean hands?? (shifty)(CHEESE!!!)(paranoid)
  4. My local Coucil spent a cool million on protection and relocation for the Great Crested Newt (holding up the construction of the bypass for months in the process), only to discover there weren't any.. fuckwits..

The Chavs here tend to drag their knuckles on the ground as well. I tend to do the same as Jony, but as the GT6 is off the road, I'm using the 944. Not as noisey so I creep up on them, ideally at the Monkey Walk roundabout, herher.
  6. This sums up in part what's going wrong with this country. In half a mind to set up a petition requesting Public Bodies name and shame such dickheads.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/norfolk/7400791.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/7395452.stm
  7. Did it come in a brown paper bag? Confidential and private stamped over it?
  8. Has this rant had a risk assessment?
  9. So, we've agreed that immigration is neccessary for the economy, but it needs to be controlled immigration. We love all colours and creeds, just hate any lazy feckers. We'll stick with GMT. Although have to say, Paris Romance time is a lot better....an extra hour daylight in the evening...(mmmbeer)BBQ(mmmbeer)BBQ(mmmbeer)
  10. True, and they're all as stupid as each other. My favourite bit; 'One geologist argued that unlike other longitudes, Mecca's was in perfect alignment to magnetic north. ' Got me worried now, in case I fall into a non-magnetic zone.
  11. You obviously never heard of the Islamic Council (I believe it was called) back in the nineties who wanted to create a Muslim parliament from Leicester, declaring that for the Muslim population of GB it would supercede the Houses of Parliament, and by consequence its laws...
  12. I worked alongside a few Swiss lads when I worked in France, they're really are too dull. Fantastic, but you'll need to be quick, it'll soon be under water, global warning and all that.. (sunny)
  13. Yes, but what does it serve? This will either stoke up further resentment against Muslims, or make the BBC look irrelevant. My money's in the latter.
  14. I actually double checked the date as well, but nope, it's not an April Fool..
