Early this year i was given a P-type overdrive, was laying at work and was otherwise going to scrap.. Had a look this evening and... cone clutch is the same and in great shape ! @Nick Jones  I did look in the UK and europe. But prices... 🙄 My uncle told me a few weeks ago about a company that redo clutches etc, its very local to us. So will have a look if they still exist etc

Indeed . Should mean the only part of the exhaust that is below the chassis will be the 6” silencer by 1 1/2” ?

Early Spitfires and the rest of the TR range (up to TR6 anyway) all had removable screens. Quite fun on the road... in the dry!... for a short time! Was wondering about the door mods myself. Does that mean the exhaust runs alongside the sill?

Hi Nick , I think Harry feels it will be tight to fit the 6” silencer under the door with out it protruding too low . 

I’m puzzled by the door mods…..

Oh yeah…… As I’m sure you known there are at least two places in the UK that can re-line those - but quite expensive.    There may be others in Europe….?
