    • That's the "American Exceptionalism" rearing it's head. "We are the best at anything and everything". I'm not slamming Americans because most don't hold this attitude. It's home is far right conservatives. (MAGA) So, Imgur has taken the attitude YOU should conform to THEIR way of doing things.  You (UK) have set some unique consumer protection rules since Brexit. Sooner or later the EU will probably adopt them and then Imgur will lose a lot of users if they don't comply.  I can't get onto Imgur if Cyberghost is enabled no matter what country/server I select. Even Canadian servers are blocked.  Similar to what Amazon Prime, Netflix and other Streamers do to geoblock people from using their streaming from other countries.  FWIW, Canada set some rules to protect major news sources in Canada from plagiarism and not getting royalties. A Digital Services Tax. The EU applauded it.  Google and others, and social media sites, blocked all Canadian news content rather than comply. Trump threatened Trudeau over it so it's been sidelined for the moment.
    • At a loss to see how agent orange fits into that….
    • It was my daily driver for two years. At the time our emissions rules had no bans about removing stuff from the engine. Or changing up the monstrosity bumpers they put on them from 1973 on. (For us Minis disappeared at the end of the 1980 model year due to Leyland's financial problems.) I pulled the smog pump and ancillaries. Pulled the head and had .120 shaved off it to offset the dished pistons trying to get the UK compression ratio. It ended up higher and I had to burn premium fuel in it. (Shop checked the water jackets first to be sure they wouldn't go too thin.) Double valve springs to get rid of the float not much above 5000 rpm. Got a set of twin SU's and manifold for them A Leyland factory long centre tube header and a Peco exhaust system. No idea how much horsepower or torque it provided but it sure moved faster. Factory, top speed was around 80 MPH. After mods... the speedo only went to 80 IIRC. Based on the tach, I could get it somewhat over 100 MPH on a  long level stretch of highway. (~6000 RPM.) Inside.. was like being in the middle of the largest nest of angry hornets you can imagine.  Not sure what tires you had on yours but I wore out the original set of Dunlop bias ply tires in about 6-7 months as a daily (and only) vehicle. I put a set of Michelin XAS Asymetrical Radials on it. They still had most of their tread 18 months later when I sold it.
    • Yoda, let me post a screen shot that may warm the cockles of your heart. Bring a smile to your face.  I said I sent BobM2's first GFY PM to Skye, and Sky sent him a formal warning. Then Bob sent another PM calling me a vagina. Also forwarded to Skye. Just got an e-mail from Bob.... 😁 That'll shut him up for awhile....  MAGA's are supposed to be all about traditional family values and taking responsibility for your own actions. But I don't expect he'll learn anything from this.
    • Bingo! We're entitled to free speech but no one can be forced to provide us a soapbox to preach it. IE: ABC, CBS, NBC, CBC, BBC.... NONE of them are going to "give" you air time to support or slam Trump. There are free open to all social media sites like X, Facebook and Instagram. But even there, there are limits on how far you can go.  During the last election campaign my X account was shaddowbanned several times. All I was posting were factual rebuttals to MAGA claims, complete with proof. Often from US Government .gov web sites! I knew I'd been shadow banned because I could see my posts, and figured something was wrong because notifications dropped to zero for days or weeks. And my son couldn't see my posts. None of them. So he searched for my "Handle" and was told the account didn't exist.  YES, X/Elon Musk took part in a form of election tampering. Suppression of accounts that were anti-trump.
    • Paul was very active on the Triumph Experience board when I was there 12 years back. Involved in discussions, etc. etc. He was last signed in on October 12, 2025. So that rules out my thoughts he might have passed. (There's a LOT of really old farts on TE.) Teglers site is still up for me. If it's not for you, it might be geoblocked if he's hosted his images on Imgur.  Six Pack forums is still there but the "home page" doesn't display the link clearly. You have to click on "Login" https://forums.6-pack.org/ There are posts there from this month so it's still active.  Triumph Spitfire & GT6 Information Warehouse indeed moved their forum off to Facebook some time ago. But I look at the library of stuff on the actual site for references. https://triumphspitfire.com/reference-pages/spitfire-gt6-models-and-options/
    • I didn't go that far in what I posted. Figured I'd been wordy enough already.  I'm aware that clearly his focus is on advertising revenue, not so much the members. I suspect political discussions will drive offended users away. Reducing Revenue.  So he doesn't allow them. He doesn't actively look for them either. Just reacts to reports.  I did some digging on Milo. I think he's a "puppet". A "disposable" account created to act out and say things he'd never say under his main "handle" in case he gets banned.  He joined a year ago, 99 posts. No image. NO cars listed. He may not even have a "horse" in the race. (IE Own a Triumph.) Most of his post are sarcastic attacks against members I KNOW don't like Trump. (Many of them contacted me via PM's after major explosive thread in the pub laid bare many peoples political leanings. But we just yak with each other. We never even thought to form a guerrilla group to target MAGA users.)
    • That sent me digging for pictures from British Car Day at Bronte Provincial Park west of Toronto a few days ago..... This one is in a dark metallic brown. (I suspect a BMW or Mercedes colour) 15" Minilites with - I believe - 175/55R15 tires. Chromed headlight bezels. Polished custom stainless steel grill and bumper overriders. Custom cream leather interior. Not sure if it was just for the chrome bling look, the external boot hinges from a MKIII. The chrome bonnet/fender side vents are from a 2006-2011 Buick Lucerne.        I couldn't find the owner to get a peek under the bonnet.
    • Ahh I see so if i route that header pipe to the bottom pipe it will provide a more direct feed to the inlet of the block. The old feed to the rad is not connected then to the header i am thinking i can block it with some sort of bleed screw?
    • Ahhh the picture and explanation helps more . This then creates a second loop for the water circulating the warming water back in. On mine there isnt a loop there as its blocked until the thermostat opens,
