Which was an aero project, to  reduce frontal area.  I don't think the above does that any favours, there's somthing a lot taller than it should be under that bonnet!

The wolf race sonic ?

its a twin rover v8 engined promo car built to promote the pepper pot style wheels. 

2 engines drive via 2 auto gearboxes to a single axle twin diff rear end. 

Recently sold on eBay in a real state to be resurrected.

Another car that was born from a commercial was the Mirov 2:

The 'car' in the ad was just a bodyshell, built in six weeks, plonked on top of a kit car chassis, just for filming.    In  fact two, that were later bought by Brian Thompson, and rebuilt over many years into a working, usable car:

Hamish was not the onohnone to note that this extraordinary car, the Wolfrace Sonic, was to be suctioned.  It festures in the Aiction zroom column in the current (January 2026!) MotorSport:
