PaulAA Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 (edited) For those of us at the 'barely competent'/'danger to ourselves and others' end of the engineering scale, the discovery of Elin Yakov's half-hour films on reassembling TRs and Spitfires is a true delight. A man who truly enjoys communicating what he has discovered for himself, delivered in a deadpan style of inherited English, which puts (exaggeration alert!) most native speaker You Tubers to shame. I've just been watching the two alternative methods of degreeing the camshaft on a '4 and a '6 (the TR6 version is here) and, for different reasons, it might just be as addictive as Binky. Enjoy! Nick Jones Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Thanks Paul. I've stumbled across some of his work before and been impressed. Don't think I've seen the linked one before but hospital wifi isn't up to checking.
PaulAA Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 I'm not sure that watching a bit of camshaft tweaking is entirely conducive to your swift recovery, Nick...
Nick Jones Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 That's ok then - haven't done any. Should be on the way home in about an hour. Sleep is on the agenda. Then some more sleep........ N
