Picked up some BL  TR6 microfiche slides last year but had no way of viewing them. Tried everything I had here including a usb microscope but to no avail. Yesterday however, I was given a microfiche reader

Will soon be scooting through the slides, so will be interesting to see what’s on them.

I have a collection of Triumph microfiche, and a reader, but although in the day they must have been invaluable, they are useless today unless those tiny images can be got online.   Has anyone a method of  scanning them somehow?

They exist.  Not very cheap though and don't seem to work all that well.

Is the information on them not available elsewhere in a more user-friendly format?  Used to have to use 'fiche as a student - horrible medium.

Until I view them, I’m not sure what’s on them. I’m sort of guessing it may be the same as the Moss/Rimmer’s book exploded diagrams, in which case it will be a waste of time. But, if there is other stuff if interest, I was just going to take a digital photo and save it in the laptop.

Time will tell.

Hello all

When I started repairing bank stuff (ATM,s Etc) I used to fit new lamps in them and boy they got hot! you will melt your film if you leave it to cook!

Usually 50watt or 80watt Halogen lamps!!!!!!

That PDF has to be as good as it gets, given the nature of the originals, Steve.    Did you acquire thevpdf, or did you do the transfer, and how?

Thanks for that file, Steve.  Sure to be useful.

Decades ago when I drove a Saab 900 Turbo, I talked the dealer into giving me one of their slightly-out-of-date parts microfiches.  Back then, I had access to a microfiche reader/printer in my lab.  It would be harder now, but I've hung onto that microfiche just 'cause someday it's going to be as useful as that document you found like that.
