Hi,

I'm new to this forum, have had my GT6 mk3 for around 5 months, it's currently in the workshop getting some modifications. I apologise in advance as I'm looking on getting it de-seamed and some round tail lights, maybe a little lip spoiler.

For some reason I can't post a picture of the car from my iPad. I will add a pic when I get on the lappy.

Welcome, I think you'll find that this forum's active members are less concerned with originality than those of some other fora.

Get those pics up.

Cheers,

James

We love mods too. However if you don't have pics it didn't happen!!!! Welcome and get those photo's up. Always good to see another modified GT6.

I stole it from some one else so it really isn't my phrase to horde However we like photo's. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours". That phrase isn't mine either but I do have plenty more where that came from.

As promised, a pic of my GT6.

Its not as clean as it looks, rust everywhere... Hopefully gone when I get it back from its modifications.

I'm from Sunderland originally, lived in Middlesborough, Darlington and even as far south as Bradford at various times. Further south in Guernsey before leaving for Oz.

It was a long and involved journey. I'm glad and happy I'm here but there are compensations when living in the UK (as it still is). I miss the easy access to Europe, you can drive round Australia easily in three months giving you time to visit those places that feature prominently on tourist maps but wherever you go, the language, customs and food, generally, are the same. You could have driven to the next town for a quick beer.

I miss the differences. Drive from the east coast to the west and it's the same. Go the same distance over there and you could be in a war zone, well past the Arctic circle, in Moscow, Aleppo or deep into Kazakhstan. If you did the round trip it would be more than London to Mumbai. It's a big country!
