Nick Jones Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I invite you all to take a refresher look through the user agreement, especially this part: If you come here to settle any old scores, cause trouble, I may ban you without notice if I don't like you. I run the show. There will be options for others to get very involved in this forum if it works. I have no huge intentions for it as such. They may not be contributed with the intention of invading anyone's privacy, of being threatening, abusive, offensive etc. Dave wrote this way back at the beginning. Others are now also involved in the forum running but this is still as valid today as it ever was. If you've got a beef or a grudge this is NOT the place to air it. There's been far too much of it lately and it needs to stop! Nick
gugcer Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Hi to all, I live in the north of Italy close to Milano and I own a Triumph Spitfire 1500 produced in 1976 and sold in Italy for first time in 1978. I have made a lot of little and great modification to my car and I can say to have a quite good experience in. I'm now tring to change rear suspension using lower arm and vertical link from GT6 and use coil springs instead of original leaf spring. I read some posts about this matter and I decided to partecipate. it's the first time form me in a forum anf I hope to find and offer help if possible; I have already made conversion to 5 speed by gearbox from Ford Sierra and I changed rear suspension using vertcal links diveshafts and balljoints from Golf and lover wishbone from Renault R5. Now I should like to change rear suspension using Thriumph parts. I am looking for drive shafts with cv joints to use for this conversion: what I need are drive shafts with 23 splines on cv joint wheel side. Rover 100 K series 1,1 - 1,4 - 1,5 Diesel or MGF 1,8 they seems to be the right to be used: this means that both have 23 splines on cv joint wheel side: is this matter sure? Can someone confirm that that driveshafts have 23 splines? I promise that next time I will write less than now. Thanks in advance a have a nice day Guglielmo (in English is William) ciao
