Greetings.  I live in Fort Myers, Florida about a 3 hour drive from Disney World.   This seems like an active forum.  I have owned my current TR6 (1973) for about 22 years and have maintained and upgarded it along the way.  I look froward to conversing with you all.  Cheers!

Over 20 years it doesn't seem such an investment.  Anytime something broke, I upgraded it - much like any project car I guess.  It was my daily driver for 18 or so years, then I had two kids.  Now it's a weekend car.  It handles very well.  Just a touch of oversteer at high speed corner exit.  It's set up for mid to high speed autocross courses.  It's nice to beat those Miatas.

Welcome aboard Tom,

You've found without doubt the best Triumph performance resource on the web.  You'll have to adapt to our cousins across the pond, a bit, cuz they tend to spell funny but other than that they're aces.  Since you're about equidistant between them and us western folk you'll probably adapt quicker.

The car looks good!  It's been years since I autoXed.  SP allows slicks?  What's the class just above stock?  I thought that was street prepared?  Anyway, as I said I haven't AutoXed since about 1990 so I don't know what's current.

OK, I just went and looked at all of my placgues and apparently the GT6 was winning in G stock and E stock in the day.  So I guess I wouldn't know what SP allowed ;D ;D.  I do recall I was careful with the mods because the next class was a slippery slope.

Thanks for the warm welcome.  Yall seem like nice folks.

Regarding autocross, here most run SCCA rules and classifications.  There's Stock, Street Prepared, Prepared and then Modified.  I run with Hoosier A6 tires.  They are technically street legal (DOT approved) but are really slicks with two small grooves around the tread.
