flc Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Hello folks, i recently purchased a 74 pre facelift triumph 2000 the body work looks good, but mechanicaly a bit poor. just like me i will be improving/modifying over the next few months. Mick.

flc Posted July 21, 2009 Author Posted July 21, 2009 Hi folks thanks for the welcome, Yes its a redish/orange car has been repainted (used to be white) a good job all inside in boot etc. so far ive fitted; clutch master repair kit clutch return spring throttle cable recon prop 2500s wheels all new exhaust mounts(clattering on the underbody). it also needs two half shafts and correct diff (currently fitted with a 3.4:1 which makes the car very lazy) in the future i will be sorting some chassis tuning springs/shocks etc and motor tunning may source a 2.5 to start with and go cam/head work exhaust. cash/time will be the deciding factor as to when, all in all im happy with it for now with loads of room for improvement
