can anybody tell me where I can order top ball joints that fit into the spitfire vert.link? or what manufactor it is, it looks like it is M16x1mm tread

Those wishbones are custom made, a balljoint wont just fit into a spit upperwishbone.

@mattius, I am not asking if the wishbones are custom made, I am looking for a balljoint that will fit in the spitfire vert.link, not in the wishbones, I make the wishbones myself (custom made)

I have seen them before and I have them on the lotus europa but don't remember where they came from all I remember (from building the top wishbones for my lotus) they are M16x1

Not sure what the thread is but its much finer than M16x1.

 

The wishbones are from Mike his design uses two nuts (1" AF) so the camber can be adjusted without splitting the joint.

Fairly sure Transits are alot larger, As Tim mentioned, the ones I use are available from Caterham and have a M16x1mm thread.

 

Caterham joint is based on a Lada joint but with more thread machined.
