Hamish Posted December 1 Posted December 1 (edited) Went to have a look at the tr register forum. but I couldn’t because their server was playing games hide and seek apparently 🤪 😉 Edited December 1 by Hamish
RogerH Posted December 1 Posted December 1 If you go to youir history and click any forum post from yesterday for the forum it should open. Roger
JohnD Posted December 1 Posted December 1 While this is seen because one's browser hasn't received the proper response, and that may be due to 'bad hat' activity, I've seen it because the site hasn't renewed its security certificate and it has expired. TRR seem to have so disliked having a Forum attached to its website that recently the two have been separated. The TRR's own website is still up and responding normally: Home | TR Register Car Club Maybe they have decided not to pay their rent, or else 'forgot' to do so? John

JohnD Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Planned? Or forced. Certainly posters on the, now available, forum site, are as surprised as anyone. I dont suppose we will.ever know.

mpbarrett Posted December 2 Posted December 2 I never follow or see posts on Fb from the tR reg, but after I had read the Sideways posts the next time I went onto FB there was the TR reg post.... scary the way FB and other apps and sites follow and listen to what you are doing.... The best example was a couple of years ago. I was talking to some friends at the pub about steam trains and we ended uptalking about the Night Train Post office film. Next time I went to YouTube, there recommended was the actual film! Mike

They really value your privacy 1 2
Hamish Posted December 4 Author Posted December 4 Is the register forum still off line ? or is it me ?
RogerH Posted December 4 Posted December 4 It is you - When they did the change-over it affected any stored log on icons. If you go to the TRR main web page you can log ontp forums there. Or if you go to your Google History and click on a forum link from last week or so. Once into the forum save the address as your new log on book mark. Roger
Hamish Posted December 4 Author Posted December 4 Ah Thanks. Now sorted. didn’t miss much by the look of it.
