JohnD Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 The CSCC has announced the programme of Swinging 60s race series: I can't say how many of these I will take part in, but it will be as many as possible, and of course it includes other Triumphs and is only for cars whose model dates from the 60s, so lots to see and enjoy for Sidewaysers! JohnD Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 (edited) Hae ye seen? Knockhill September 26th. This will include not only day, but NIGHT races! CSCC tell me that "Other local drivers, in eligible cars, are welcome to join in for this event. They are invited to contact the CSCC office to discuss what we can offer them with regards to membership and registration. Note that all drivers wishing to take part in our night races will need to have entered with us in a day race too." So, if anyone fancies a bash around Knockhill, or even (Oooeeeer, missus) a night run, please contact CSCC at: 1 Masons Wharf, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9FY info@classicsportscarclub.co.uk Tel: 01225 810655 Even if you can't get there, this and all the meetings marked with a little camera, will be 'live streamed' on YouTube. JohnD Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 (edited) I've entered the CSSC Test Day, at Donington on Wednesday Feb 25th. I'll have a garage to work in in case of wet weather and would welcome anyone who would like to come along, to help with test procedures - tyre temps, timing etc. The Club say that second drivers who are not CSCC members will be welcome, but that they must wear full race overalls, helmet etc. The day will include four sessions of 30 mins each for each class, slow, medium and fast, plus any time left over. Please let me know either way! John Edited January 9 by JohnD
Hamish Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Sounds like fun - if the weather is kind. pity I never got a circuit license 🙄 with so much parental illness on both sides I can’t commit to much, sadly.
