Spitfire bonnet question(s)

Folks

Looking for some help if I may regarding some dimensions on the Spitfire bonnet. I did take these before the steel one went, but have managed to lose them somewhere in the interim and they are now improtant as I come to building up the carbon bonnet.

Basically after dimensions A to E on the attached photos

A is the distance from the bottom edge of the wheelarch to the reinforcing bracket along the seam

B is the width of the reinforcing bracket

C rear bolt of the centre mount for the support tube from the rear edge of the bonnet

D bottom edge of the wheelarch to support tube mounting holes

E bottom edge of wheelarch to first hinge tube mounting

F bottom edge to second hinge tube mounting

Are any of these similar to GT6 bonnets by any chance?

I can pop out in the glorious sunshine and measure up if it is of any use to you.

Phil, yes indeed they are all similar.

Okay, here's what I have.

A: 145mm, measured with steel rule following wheel arch round (as in rocked the rule round the arch).

B: 100mm "inside", or 102mm "outside"

😄 227mm, steel rule, middle of bolt to outer edge of bonnet

😧 125mm, rear bolt to wheel arch edge, same measurement with tape measure and steel rule

E: 275mm "straight line" with steel rule, 282mm following wheelarch with tape measure to rear of arch

F: 453mm "straight line" with steel rule, 493mm following arch with tape measure to rear of arch

Alternatively, measuring to front of arch:

E: 510mm "straight line" with steel rule, 575mm following arch with tape measure

F: 340mm "straight line" with steel rule, 360mm following arch with tape measure.

Worth noting that that rear of the wheelarch is two sections, with the "inside" arch being 8mm shorter than the "outer". All my measurements are too the "inside" edge.

Is that roughly what you are after? Holler if I have measured the wrong thing, or you need clarification on what I have done lol. I'm (obviously) at home and you have my number, feel free to call if it is time pressing 😁

Phil  that is absolutely brilliant thank you. You are a gentleman.
