  1. Not only that GHR630 but the RAF are said to fold within 10 years time as they are not needed as the Navy can provide the same support for less cash. Chris.
  2. Its funny............. because the amount of people that complain about the price (on the other forum!!!) but then complain that the quality is bad when they get the cheaper part is unreal. Graham really does good quality stuff(which the price reflects) and i cant wait to fit my new body for this reason. I would go as far as to say that its better then the cars that came off the production line. Chris.

  5. Yes only for mk1-3 and yes mattius they are Spats for the wheel arches.   7. My vote is in with the Huco. I use a disposable VW Golf filter from Halfords in the boot. The Huco also sucks so can be mounted any where. I love it. Chris.
  8. JimC, as all that mattius stated but also get a set of webbers or EFI on there. Also need to get the manifolds matched and ported correctly. I would also run the megajolt and ask one of the guy's here for a good map. Chris.
  9. Hi, how many horses are you going to be running??? As the uprated uj's are only rated for 150bhp(apparently). As for Bordon and the Reme, i ve been there done my course and also played for the rugby team. Being in the marines though made it strange playing for the army. However was fun and a good bunch of lads. Don't know why they want to close it as there wont be anywhere to train anyone after its gone. Really enjoyed my time there, hope the project goes well.   10. To be honest, ill be dyno'ing my car quite soon with my 4-1 pacesetter and then with the gt manifold. If GT's comes out on top then i will probably get a custom GT exhaust manifold made for the 1147 8 port head i plan on building. He will be porting the head anyway? Chris.

  13. Graham of T6 is currently designing the Fibreglass convertable Spitfire mk1/2/3 body tub. Ive seen the plug, it looks good. Just incase you dont like the GT. Chris.

  16. The Bonnet Bulge is just so you can fit 6 cylinder engines in and have good clearance. Historically i don't know? Maybe some on will chime in??? I dont mind it, though i was thinking of asking Graham for the Spitfire race type bonnet. Looks so good on ADU1B. Here's a video of ADU1B. My car is going to have the same le mans paint scheme but it will be Black with Red le mans front. Nice Video. Cant Wait, but have to Finish paying for it yet so probably another 5-6 Months before the bodys ready. :P Chris.

  21. Ive just spoken to Jigsaw and they use a 4-2-1 made by phoenix but its a custom job with Siamese joints rather than the usual cheap joins on their other stuff. Would be nice to have a look so asked mark to take a photo of the one they use. Really isn't any info on these smaller engines. Chris.
  22. Yes inlayed metal into the sills and the the clever bit is in the half roll cage as it bolts to the top of the rear suspension giving it more strength. Will do a write up when it arrives. Chris.

  24. No, they were 1147's with 8 port heads(138mph top speed recorded). The 1300(fd) was apparently very impressive in testing but a change in the rules cancelled the programme. A couple of the rally guys continued with the 1300 and won the class outright but unfortunately it was never going to win over all because of the larger cars etc. Shame as if they had carried on i think the later mk4 and 1500 engines would have been even more impressive and sold even better. Will be an interesting project either way and ill be useing a mk3 crank as its the same as the 1147 but with better seal. Also its not for racing but for every day use and as many CT events as possible. I would never be competitive anyway as im 6'5 and weight 21 stone. Ha Ha. Chris.
