Yeeee haaaa!

Thanks John and well found. Excellent video. Was aware of quick clay (earth science/geology education) but that film is simply superb in its detail and clarity.  I particularly liked the salt demo. I’ve read that brine injection is sometimes used for stabilisation and now appreciate how it might work.

Progress has been bloody slow. Main issue being getting the part of the garage I'm working in remotely warm enough. Eventually managed to get the mods finished and rubbed down. And I have taken a mould off that which is noew curing. We'll see how good it is both finish and fit wise shortly. Meanwhile I have cut out the old mis-sized panel from the bonnet which gave me space to get the hinge tube fitted up. Slightly more complicated without the panel to work against but I think that's it. Needs tack welding and then I can do a trial fit on the car... 

My fully analogue Mitutoyo. Never needed the battery changing in 42 years and counting.  

I have a volvo one (probably the same?) on the way.  I am thinking the not shutting fully is OK with a plenum whith a single throttle body, as it seems to shut nice and tight. Guess I will find out!

Hello           It is just one of the same valves but just the body(I broke one when playing with it so gutted it and tapped for 4 feeds) I have found this one I had fitted at first it is a Bosch valve it does work but does not shut completely and did not seem to suit my set up? You can have it if you want it to play with? for free but perhaps a donation to a charity of your choice? Roger  ps pm me if interested

To all my European friends, what you are witnessing in the USA is the rise of a Gestapo State under a would be Fascist Dictator, Donald J. Trump. If Hitler had been dispatched and buried early on, WWll might never have happened. Trump is sanctioning the "Legal Killing" of American Citizens. Trump is doing to Americans what the Ayatollah is doing in Iran.  He is refusing to even due proper investigations or any sort of abuse of power by his private military who answer only to him.  He is dead serious about taking Greenland and more. He is daring the world to stop him.  As for the murder of American Citizens who's only act was to stand up and say NO, or say "Shame on you" in protest, Donald Trump calls them domestic terrorists. Last week, Renee Good was murdered and called a domestic terrorist with no investigation of facts. She NEVER struck the Ice Officer with her vehicle, it wasn't even pointed toward him. Her wheels were turned  away from his direction. Trump then said, "She Ran Him Over" Strange then how he rambled down the street to make sure he killed her and then walked back. He fired THREE shots at point blank range directly into her window. This is a clear and simple case of MURDER. Renee was a mother of three and this was the first time she had ever met with one of the Trump Gestapo Agents. These murderers mask their faces, remove their name tags and shoot indiscriminately.  This is not the America you learned about in school. We've always had our faults but never ever been a TERRORIST NATION. Our Congress and Senate, the governing bodies of the nation are infected by Trump supporters who are afraid to say Stand Up and Say NO.  We here in the States are hoping and praying that in our 2026 November Mid-Term Elections that some of this may change. Trump is already threatening to disrupt or delay the election. This CRIMINAL is going to be in control for another 3 years.  I know not all of Europe is united and there are may problems between nations but you must find common ground NOW. You have a choice of STANDING UNITED or being picked off in piece meal. Greenland may be the first to fall.  

Roget what is teh part bolted to the valve? (ie the bit with the 4 holes etails and the filter) as I have not seen that, just the valves itself And I like the idea of a seperate mini filter on the valve, very neat and much easier than tapping into the main filter.
