thebrookster
There's always something that makes you stop and take stock. Or simply stop in complete disbelief. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/getwellboris?fbclid=IwAR36Dmu7rw75ert6BSbxeDTjkab9b2iwJOCNQcjCDLeGDwQaP-7cRhRVlmc
JohnD
Thank you, Phil, for leading us into another of the byways of the Jungle of strange folk we call the Internet. Only 69 people have supported this political groupie's fawning gift. Maybe I should say SIXTY NINE PEOPLE HAVE! Oh, well that's about 0.0001% of the population, which is a lot less than the number of lunatics, so that's good. We shouldn't hit a man when he's down, but I will, as I don't want him back, so get well slowly de Pfeffle. John
zetecspit
But I bet if you have a dig about there are some really odd things on that site. Somebody wanting to buy their (mainstream) politician of choice a gift is harmless and not exactly bizarre. But wanting to give a gift to somebody (for whatever reason) then asking strangers to chip seems strange to me. What is of far greater concern is the number of people who watched David Icke. John, I disagree. At the moment having the prime minister back in post would be a good thing. We need a clear chain of command, and I am glad parliament is "returning" in a week. There are plenty of decisions that need making, be interesting to see how constructive the opposition will be. Saw Lisa Nandy on the marr show earlier, she seemed very reluctant to be critical of what has happened so far. There was also chappie (forgotten name, Sir somebody) who is involved in advising govt. All quite interesting about how the govt is being advised, and he was quite reticent about how the govt had been told the threat was "moderate" until late in the game. Worth a watch when it is available online.
