Importing from USA

Recommended Posts

I met a mongoose GTP yesterday (yes I believe it does have a personality one can meet !!!)

http://mongoosemotorsports.com/gtp/

11/12 year old that is road registered over in the USA .

Is it complicated to import and IVA for Uk road use?

its a bit loud so some silencing and CAT work could be needed. It’s running and LS7 motor.

Not sure I could rebadge it as a triumph for the tr championship tho .

Very much so !!!

but the quality of the work and engineering was great.

The LS7 in the back was a wonderful thing to see.

7 litre 500bhp that will run forever as it’s under so little stress apparently.

there is 750bhp and a 1050bhp supercharged version of the engine as well apparently.

If it’s previously registered elsewhere it should be straightforward? Just need to do a Nova form?

Been chatting with the chap.

And the price has come down.

If only I knew it would be allowed to be registered it would be less of a risk.

its 10.3 standing 1/4 at 130mph

is that fast enough ?

top speed of 208 mph
