Loving the photos,  makes me want to do a road trip.

Hello RedRooster

                                So what is stopping you?

I am nearly 74 and the Memsahib is a bit younger

loving the pictures, really like Spain must go back again next year.
So I have to ask are you cleaning the Spitfire everyday, its looks immaculate in every picture!

How's the injection working every thing ok? I guess if you are getting 40'ish MPG then it must be working well.

hello Mike

No just once because I had parked under a tree and there was a lot of bird S**t (I think the colour helps?)

This were I washed it! there was a water fountain so a used water bottle and a cloth better than your average drive way?

Just book the ferry and commit your self

The injection is pretty good I did alter the map and made a complete C**k up so changed back I think I have given it 6 or 7% authority and when on a long bit you can see it get back to the AFR target.

It is just a bit off at times when I am more confident I may try 8 to 10%

The second night accommodation was a bit rough and hade to take the top bunk and it was hard on the old bones!

Hello All

We have been on our usual walk about(pub crawl)

We have had some nice rose wine and tapas but the icing on the cake was passing the volunteer fire station(seen earlier)

Then being cheeky and saying can I take photos of the old fire engine!

Well it just got better they were all over us like a rash and the next thing we knew they had got the 1921 Packard fire engine running all be it a bit rough

We did not push our luck and ask for a drive!

Roger & Memsahib

ps can you see the silly grins? I blame the Vino plus me seeing if we can get onto the river side!

How great that they keep that old vehicle. Roger I am sure you could have tuned up that straight eight for them.

the picture diary has been great. And a real lift as we’ve had nothing but rain.

Stay safe

Portuguese branch of the wand shop in Harry Potter world?

Separately Roger, are those standard Spitfire seats that appear to be supporting you so well over long distances?

Nick,

"Made to measure suits of armour? "

I'm sure that is so close to the correct answer, but you probably don't know it.

If I find myself in a place like that I know I’ve taken a wrong turn somewhere......

Suits of armour was the first thing that came into my head. Roger may enlighten us at some point, once he’s wined and dined
