PeterC
I use a screen capture software a lot. 'Lightshot'; https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html It is wonderful to be able to copy a screen-shot and paste onto here. It was not permitted on the oTRer place. Thank you webby ! TR5tar
Hi Peter, For screenshots I just use Alt and Prt Scr to capture and Ctrl and V to paste, as below. Does the Lightshot software have any particular advantages over doing it the way I am? Darren

Darren Darren, Yes you can define any rectangular area within the screen,. and save to cloud it you wish and cite its short url. Its especially useful for protected pdfs, as I'm sure you wont appreciate professionally ! Peter
TR5tar
Hi Peter, Thanks for the information. Unlike my old firm (you know who they are), when I launched my publishing business I made a decision from the very start to make the material we publish open access, so no protected pdfs for us. Other than just taking a screen shoot as above, I use a piece of software called "Snipping Tool" which appears to be similar to what you describe. Darren I use snipping tool also, I think it may be a Microsoft add on. Like all new technology, I don't know how I managed without it. Test: Didn't work!!! Darren Evidently, it was my use of a "sniping tool" which cost me my access to the oTRer place Paul
