JohnD
A friend has given me a small ingot of Wood's metal. I know it's used in bending tubes, especially small ones, and the ingot is only about 2x1x1", but has anyone used it, for that or any other purpose? mossmonaco
Made a lot of teaspoons from it! (when I was 17, smuggled loads of them into the school staff room.... just don't drink the tea!)

mossmonaco
Not many people are likely to drink tea that 'disolves' metal. The spoons are unusually heavy (50% lead) which you dont notice, but when the weight of the head drops off you cant miss it.
